The Boyz -R- Back was formed in February of 2006 by Joe O. There have been numerous personnel changes between then and now, with our most recent addition joining us in Oct. 2008. Our members currently include: Joe O.(Drums and Vocals), Ken McQ. (Bass Guitar and Vocals), Roy R. (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Mike S. (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals),  Nick R. ( Rhythm Guitar and Vocals), and Julia D. (Lead Vocals).  All members of the group have many years experiance in music some over 20 yrs. Three of us (Joe, Ken, and Roy) were all members of a Doo-Wop Group called "Reminisce". We dwell on hits of the 50's - 80's, covering all phases of music within those decades including Motown, doo wop, classic rock, disco, and funk. Our repertoire is quite extensive.

Considered by many to be one of the most versatile Oldies groups to come along in many years, The Boyz -R- Back combine their unique blend of voices and majestic instrumental sound to create an illusion where everyone, regardless of age, instantly reverts back to their teenage years. 

We have appeared at most of the area's larger carnivals, campgrounds, car shows (cruise nights), and we are also available for private engagements. We are currently serving the NY, NJ & Pennsylvainia areas.

We hope you enjoy your journey back in time when pony tails, two tone cars, poodle skirts, motor cycle jackets and D.A. hairdos were the rage and a new style of music was sweeping the country. It took the Rhythm of the North and the Blues of the South to come together. Then as Muddy Waters put it: " The Blues had a baby and they called it Rock n' Roll". DOO WOP is the early crossover from Rhythm & Blues to Rock n' Roll.

At a time when life was uncomplicated, we had the innocence of youth, and the promise of a great future. And our music has survived the test of time. We have lots of fans who weren't even born when these songs originated! Indeed, "Rock n' Roll will never die!".
